Since 2010, Chef/Owner Crystal Corbin’s hearty blending of British Isles favorites and Pacific Northwest ingredients have been a popular part of the Coastal Oregon dining scene. Front of the house is run by Crytstal’s husband and co-owner, Sean, and his three brothers. It’s a warm and welcoming place in Cannon Beach offering dinner only. By day, the space is occupied by Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters that is also excellent.
I chose the Lamb Shepherds Pie, a combination of ground lamb in a rich red wine sauce topped with colcannon potatoes. It was piping hot and comforting on a cold evening.
My wife had the daily fish special, delicious Wild King Salmon over a bed of wild rice with a lemon beurre blanc.
Lemon Curd is one of my favorite things in the world. So, choosing the homemade scones with Devonshire cream, raspberry jam, and lemon curd was a given.
My wife selected the Chocolate Pot, a rich chocolate creme with pistachios and shortbread cookies.
The Irish Table is a great choice for dinner after a long afternoon walk on the beach.
